How It's Done — WARP Album Covers

To celebrate War Robots' 11th Anniversary, we created a rock-themed in-game event. As part of it, a group of Pilots formed a rock band called WARP (WAr Robots Pilots) and are on their way to a concert.

We decided to bring this concept to life even more by creating some iconography for the band.

The reference selection for the logo is overall very straightforward, since I’ve seen a lot of rock and metal stuff — plenty of examples come to mind. Still, I added a few more to the existing ones — fairly neutral ones from classic hard and heavy

Using the logos from the references as a guide, I created several variations, but the main one was developed based on the WR logo, which makes sense
